Generating content

How to have the AI write a draft, and why it always lands in Review first.

Open this in the portal →

Having a draft written

Under Content in the menu, you have the AI write a text. You choose:

  • the type: product, category, page, blog or FAQ
  • a topic or keyword
  • the language

Then you click generate. The AI writes a draft.

It always goes to Review first

This is the most important rule: a generated piece never goes live directly. It lands as a draft in Review, where you read it, adjust it and publish it yourself.

This is built this way on purpose. Publishing AI text unchecked is exactly what damages a website. Why, and what the research says about it, is in Does AI content hurt your website?.

Proposing a better URL slug

On the Content page, the Slug proposal button (🔗) on each row opens a page with 2 to 3 suggested URL slugs, each with a short rationale. You pick the best one, tweak it if needed, and confirm. The proposals take into account what you sell and the language of your audience, so a category with an English name gets a fitting slug in the right language. To steer the terminology or language, set an SEO guideline for the domain on the Domains page.

This proposal also goes to Review first. Approve it there and a 301 redirect is created automatically, so existing links and your SEO value are preserved and no one lands on a dead page.

What it costs

Generating content falls under your content plan if you have a monthly bundle for it, or it comes out of your credits. What applies to you is in Subscription and limits and Credits.

Where do you start?

If you don't know what to write about, Search questions is a good starting point: a list of real questions people ask in your category.
