What this page shows

The page opens on Overview: how many checks of your website check pass, whether that went up or down, four figures, and below that what matters most to pick up now.

Behind it are three tabs with the detail: Website check, Google results and Search queries.

The overview

The website check counts how many checks on your pages pass, for example "41 of 48 in order". Beside it you read whether that is more or fewer than at the previous measurement, with the date. If Search Console is not connected, it says we cannot yet tell how well you are found: the check only reads how your pages are built. If this is your first measurement, it says you will see the trend from now on.

The four figures:

  • In the top 10: how many of your tracked pages sit at position 1 to 10 in Google.
  • Clicks · 14 days: how often your pages were clicked in the past two weeks, with the difference against the two weeks before that.
  • Impressions · 14 days: how often your pages were shown, compared the same way.
  • Pages read: how many pages the last website check could read, out of every page it found.

These figures come from Google Search Console and from your last website check. Opening this page starts no measurement and costs no credits.

Search Console returns at most 100 pages, sorted by clicks. If your site has more, that is stated under the figures.

Biggest opportunities

Below that is what was found on your site. For example "21 pages sit just outside the top 10" or "2 pages are broken". Each card explains why it matters, and the button takes you to [Optimisation](/en/manual/zoekvragen-en-optimalisatie). There you see which pages it is about and what to do about them, with the buttons that do the work.

The same findings also appear on your To Do list by themselves, with a priority.

The three tabs

Website check walks through your pages. Every page gets a coloured dot. Green: nothing to fix for the website check. Amber: there are points to improve, such as a title that is too long or missing Open Graph tags. Red: Google may not show the page (noindex), or, with a cross, the page does not work. A warning sign means we could not read the page. Missing FAQ or Organization schema does not set the colour; you see that advice when you open the page. The list starts with what needs attention first.

Google results shows what Google Search Console itself reports: your actual positions, clicks and impressions per page.

Search queries is an on-demand measurement. VEO builds up to eight category search queries in the language and country of your market, and looks at who ranks in the normal Google results for each. That way you also see queries you are not found for yet, and which competitors are there instead. This measurement is not stored, so you always see the latest one.

Worth knowing

  • This is about the normal (organic) results. Not ads, and not Google's AI overview. That last one is on [AI visibility](/en/manual/ai-zichtbaarheid).
  • The clicks and impressions figures are about pages, not keywords. For keywords, use the Google results tab.
  • The overview is about your site as a whole. For each page, look in the Website check.
